About UCalgary:
Our vibrant, urban university has a strong sense of community. Our main campus is just minutes away from downtown Calgary and we’re just an hour’s drive from the Canadian Rocky Mountains. As one of the top young universities in North America, our research expertise includes energy, brain and mental health, smart and secure cities, earth-space technologies and chronic diseases.
Calgary was the host city for the 1988 Winter Olympic Games and the legacy lives on. Venues such as the Olympic Oval, Canada Olympic Park, and the Canmore Nordic Centre still host international competitions and serve as training centres of national teams.
